The Maca Lounge : University Student Lounge Redesign
Client: Griffith University (Livespace Initiative)
Art Direction: Collaborative / Student led
Medium: Interior and Graphic Design
“ Maca Lounge” is the redesign of the former dinning hall at Griffith University Logan Campus. The Maca Lounge is a student led project developed through Griffith University’s Livespace program. I worked on this project as both an interior and graphic designer. I had a unique opportunity to collaborate with branding team from another university while also working with the interior design team at Griffith. My role included interior layout planning, material research, mood board development and collaborative design decisions, as well as creating presentation materials and supporting the branding and visual identity of the space. The project involved working with multiple departments and teams across universities, including stakeholders and branding collaborators, to bring the concept to life.
